Dr. Erin Anderson brings 27 years of experience in public education to the GMSD, serving in a variety of instructional and leadership roles. A proud graduate of Alvernia University, Dr. Anderson earned both a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership before completing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Neumann University.
Throughout his career, Dr. Anderson has been dedicated to supporting students, teachers, and school communities. He began his journey as a classroom teacher in 1999, teaching 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades before transitioning into administration. Dr. Anderson has spent the past 19 years in administrative roles including Dean of Students, Middle School Instructional Supervisor, Building Principal, Acting Superintendent, and Assistant Superintendent.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. Anderson is happily married to his best friend, Lori, for 24 wonderful years. Together, they have two amazing children, Hannah and Carter, and share their home with two loving and faithful pups, Bo and Luke.
