Summer Swim Lesson 2026 
Please review carefully as registration and lessons will be a different format then in years past. Registration for all five summer sessions will be held, Wednesday May 27th starting at 12 pm and will be held electronically. Registration will open as an announcement on the Governor Mifflin webpage. Registration will be first come first serve. If the time      is no longer listed on the google form, the class you are trying to register is full and will not accept any more participants. Payment is due the first class. Cash, check, or money orders are accepted.  Checks and MO are to be made payable to Governor Mifflin School District (GMSD). 

Learn-to-Swim Level 2 - Fundamental Aquatic Skills

Fee:
Resident: $70.00 per session
Non-resident:  $80.00 per session 

Prerequisites for this level 5 years old or 48 inches tall or taller.   The objective of Level 2 is to give participants success with fundamental skills. Participants learn to float without support and to recover to a vertical position.  This level marks the beginning of true locomotion skills. Participants continue to explore simultaneous and alternating arm and leg actions on the front and back to lay the foundation for future strokes.

Advanced Swim Lessons (Learn-to-Swim Levels 3, 4, 5, 6) 

Fee:
Resident: $70.00 per session
Non-resident:  $80.00 per session 

These classes are a continuation in the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Curriculum.  All classes are instructed by a certified Water Safety Instructor.  Students will learn advanced skills and strokes such as sidestroke, breaststroke and butterfly.  To enroll in an advanced course, the student must have successfully passed the previous course.  Red Cross cards showing that the course was successfully completed should be shown at registration.  Come to the season appropriate registration to register.

Summer Recreation Swims
The pool will be open for recreational swimming, use of diving boards, parents with small children, adult lap swimming, and adult aqua walking/jogging.  Cancellations due to school functions and maintenance will be posted in advance.  Come to any recreation swim to register.  Registration is good for the fall, spring, and summer sessions. 

Registration Cards:  $20.00 per person and cards are valid for the current school year.

Daily Fees:

• Adult - $2.00 (with registration card)
• Student - $1.50 (with registration card)
• Families - $4.00 (3 to 5 people with registration card)
• Adult Guest - $5.00 (without registration card)
• Student Guest - $3.00 (without registration card)
• Senior Citizen – free (with registration card)
• Preschool – free (with registration card)

Summer Rec. Swim:

• June 16th- July 23rd, 2026; Tuesday-Thursday
