Chromebook Update for Summer 2023

Good afternoon Governor Mifflin Community,

I hope this email finds you well. This message is to inform you that our technology department will be undertaking a Google Migration process this summer in order to consolidate our domains and streamline our user experience for our students and staff. In order to conduct the migration, we will have to collect Chromebooks for all students, including those in grades 7-11, during the last week of School. Current seniors will not be affected by this process and will have the option to either return their device or keep it.

Further instruction and information will be shared with you as we draw closer to the end of the school year, however we wanted to make you aware in advance of this change to procedure well ahead of time. Please keep an eye out for further communications, especially regarding any summer programs in which a Chromebook will be used.
