Hello Mustang Nation,

As we look ahead to the 2025–2026 school year, we want to share an exciting update to our student parking procedures. With our Open Campus Model, we recognize that parking availability has improved, and we’re pleased to offer more students the opportunity to park conveniently and safely on campus.

During the 2025-2026 school year, juniors and seniors will be able to park in the student parking lot free of charge.

To take advantage of this, students must register their vehicles using this Google Form. After completing the form, they can pick up a parking placard from the main office starting August 11, 2025. Parking is not assigned to individual spaces—students with a valid placard may park in any yellow-lined space in the student lot on a first-come, first-served basis.

We ask that all students who use the parking lot follow the GMSD Code of Conduct. Keeping the lot safe and respectful for everyone is a shared responsibility. Students who park in staff-designated spaces, drive recklessly, or otherwise violate expectations will receive a warning for a first offense. Continued issues may lead to a revocation of parking privileges, and in some cases, vehicles may be towed at the student’s expense.

We hope this update makes the school day a bit easier for our upperclassmen. Students with a placard are welcome to begin parking in the student lot on the first day of school.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to a great year ahead!
