Homework

Governor Mifflin School District believes that learning extends beyond the classroom through meaningful practice, reflection, curiosity, and real-world experiences. Learning beyond the school day should reinforce classroom instruction while supporting students’ academic growth, independence, and overall well-being. Homework expectations are designed to be purposeful, developmentally appropriate, and balanced with students’ family life, extracurricular activities, and wellness.

Families are encouraged to support learning through reading, discussing school experiences, and fostering curiosity. Questions regarding the purpose, quantity, or expectations of assignments should be directed to the student’s classroom teacher.
