Role of School Security and Safety Staff
Our school district prioritizes safety through a dedicated team that includes a Director of Safe Schools and School Culture, as well as a School Police Officer (SPO). This team's primary focus is ensuring the well-being of students and staff during school hours and related activities.
The team responds to incidents, collaborates on appropriate responses, and offers support to students with disabilities following incidents. They involve law enforcement only when necessary.
