Food Allergy Awareness & Healthy Practices

The safety and health of our children is of utmost importance. At Governor Mifflin, we have several children with severe allergies. In an effort to support all of our student’s health and wellness we ask for your support in implementing the following:

• Please report any food allergies and/or other health concerns to the teacher and school nurse.

• Under no circumstance should food be brought for your child’s class.  If choosing to pack your child’s lunch or snacks it is essential that you avoid sending known allergens. If you must send a known allergen, please indicate that on the outside of your child’s lunchbox.
